| When we started looking for a name
for our brand new "Hound Group" club, there it was. The Cuyahoga River is a
very unique geographic formation. The river has its headwaters in Geauga
County just east of Cleveland, from there it meanders south and a bit west
into Portage County, where it turns west into Summit County. From there it
turns back north and west into Cuyahoga County, where it empties into Lake
Erie about 40 miles +/- from the headwaters. The total length of the river
is +/- 100 miles. |
